local coffee in Sarasota

Coffee has a way of getting people talking. A quick stop for a cup turns into a conversation, a familiar face becomes a friend, and suddenly you have another reason to visit your favorite local spot.

That connection is what drew Adrianne, the owner of Abide Coffee Company, into the coffee industry about six years ago. Now, she’s bringing her coffee and community spirit to The Bazaar on Apricot & Lime, and we’re happy to welcome her to the family.

A Sarasota Native Giving Back

Born and raised in Sarasota and a Riverview High School graduate, Adrianne wanted to build a business of her own that would actively give back to her hometown. With Abide Coffee Company, that purpose is part of the business: net profits are donated to Resurrection House of Sarasota, which provides resources to people experiencing homelessness in our area. Adrianne was drawn to its mission and the range of resources it offers to people with different needs.

So when you stop by for coffee, you’re also supporting her effort to make a difference right here in Sarasota.

What’s Brewing at Abide?

Adrianne serves fresh hot coffee and fresh cold brew, along with syrups she makes herself. Whether you like your coffee simple or enjoy a little sweetness, come meet her and find your new favorite local coffee in Sarasota.

Want to keep the coffee going at home? She also sells freshly roasted whole beans to bring a little Abide into your morning routine.

And she’s already listening to her customers. After receiving requests for decaf, Adrianne plans to add it to the selection. Espresso and lattes could be on the menu next year, too. For now, those are possibilities brewing for the future!

Coffee Is More Than Her Day Job for this Local Coffee in Sarasota

When she has some downtime, Adrianne enjoys reading. And if you’re wondering what a coffee business owner does for a hobby, her answer still includes coffee.

It makes sense. Her interest began with the way coffee brings people together, and Abide gives her a place to make those connections herself. At The Bazaar, where a shopping trip can turn into an afternoon of conversation, music, and discovering something new, she fits right in.

Come Meet Adrianne

You’ll find Abide Coffee Company at The Bazaar on Apricot & Lime every Thursday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Stop by for a fresh cup, pick up some beans, and help us welcome Adrianne. She also loves doing events, so if you have a gathering coming up that could use a little caffeine, be sure to chat with her.

One more friendly face. One more reason to linger. And coffee that gives back to the community we call home.
