As the sun crosses the celestial equator, day and night find perfect balance — and so do we. This Equinox, Sarasota Ecstatic Dance invites movers, artists, families, and free spirits to gather for a day of movement, mindfulness, and community celebration at The Bazaar on Apricot and Lime on Friday, March 20th.
Since 2013, Ecstatic Dance Sarasota has been a heartbeat of the conscious community on Florida’s west coast — a space where people of all ages and abilities gather to move freely, express authentically, and connect deeply. Led by Kelly Atkins, a movement artist and facilitator with over two decades of experience, these dances are less about choreography and more about discovery — listening to your body, releasing tension, and remembering joy.
The Equinox Sarasota Ecstatic Dance honors that spirit of balance. The day begins with morning yoga guided by Joshua Redmond of Natrona Yoga, easing participants into mindful motion. From there, Kelly leads…
